A 'Fire Safety Information and Demonstration Session' was held at Connections on Thursday 31st May. Phillip Minty demonstrated and talked about fire safety techniques with the assistance of Robbie Wighton, Fire Captain of the Inverell Fire Service. Phillip strongly believes that everyone should have some understanding of fire safety and of what to do in the event of a fire emergency. Phillip has made it his project to educate the community on fire safety, and this information and demonstration session will be the first of many to come. It is great to see someone pursuing a passion that aids the community, and could potentially save lives. Great job Phillip!!
